 환호의 대상이었던 이곡은...Boney M 의 노래로 알고있지만 원곡은
1959년에 Neil Sedaka 가 발표한  one way ticket (to the blues )"이다
이후 Barry Blue , The Ventures ,  Eruptio ,  Boney M  등  리메이크해 불렀으며,
우리나라에서는 가수 방미가  번안가요  ' 날 보러와요" 로 불렀고
또한 영화 "말죽거리 잔혹사"에 삽입되기도 했다
오늘 소개하는 지금 이곡은 Eruption(이럽션)]이 리메이크한 곡으로
70년대 고고와 디스코 음악의 대표적인 히트곡이다. 70년대 후반 유럽 각지를
오가며 활동한 [Disco(디스코)], [Funk(펑크)] 밴드 [Eruption(이럽션)]은 1974년
결성되어 다음해 잉글랜드에서 열린 [RCA Soul Search Contest]에서 입상함으로써
본격적인 활동을 시작한다. [Precious Wilson(프레셔스 윌슨, 보컬)]이 합류하기
전에는 [The Silent Eruption(사일런트 이럽션)]이란 로컬 밴드로 활동하였다.
첫 싱글인 [Let Me Take Your Back In Time(1976)]은 그 당시 소울
차트를 상행하며 괜찮은 인기를 얻었고 왕성한 활동을 하였다.
